About
I harden kits against wind and snow with simple, reliable steps any careful builder can execute.
Core Beliefs
Overbuild once, sleep well always—resilience is the cheapest insurance you’ll ever buy.
Background
After a coastal storm, I walked a field of twisted hoops. Most had token anchors and flat roofs that trapped wet snow. We rebuilt with helical anchors, knee braces, and steeper pitches. A year later, 60-knot gusts came; those structures stayed put. Owners slept. I slept, too.
Perspective
I prefer conservative load margins, robust anchors, and redundant connections over lighter, faster builds.
